Benefits of Georgia United Credit Union Account

As a Georgia United Credit Union account holder, you have access to various banking benefits. Some of those benefits include access to a network of over 100,000 surcharge -free ATMs in more than 170 countries.

Georgia United Credit Union members can used any Georgia United ATM machine at no-cost by using your GA United ATM Card or GA United VISA Debit Card. Transactions performed at ATM machines other than Georgia United are subject to an ATM usage fee of $0.75 per transaction.

Eligible Family Members

If you have an immediate family member or live in the same household with someone who is a Georgia United member or eligible non-member, you will be eligible to join.

What you need to open an GUCU Account

If you meet one of the Georgia United Credit Union eligibility requirements listed above, then you are ready to open an account!

To open a Georgia United Credit Union account, you will need:

  • Address
  • Date of Birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Valid Driver’s License or State-Issued ID
  • $5 opening deposit per account

Make sure you have all of these items before visiting a Georgia United Credit Union branch, they will be required to open an account.

Please be aware that you must be at least 18 years old to open an individual membership account. If you are under the age of 18, you must open a joint membership account with a parent or guardian.

If you are opening a joint membership account, both the minor and parent or guardian must also provide all of the items listed above in order to open an account.

There is a $5 one-time, non-refundable membership fee that must be paid when opening a Georgia United Credit Union account.

      Unfortunately, Bryan County is not listed as eligible. However, we suggest calling them directly at 707-476-6400 to confirm.
