Buckhead Christian Ministry Thanksgiving Food Assistance
Nonprofit organization, Buckhead Christian Ministry gives out gift cards to families that need help purchasing a turkey or fixings for their Thanksgiving meal.

CAYA Reconciliation Ministries is hosting their meal bag event, “Hen & Fixings” to support the families in their local community. Registered families will receive a complete Thanksgiving meal bag delivered to them for free.

Feeding GA Families Thanksgiving Meal Event
The nonprofit organization, Feeding GA Families is hosting their Thanksgiving meal event for the local community. The event changes every year based on donations. However, typically families will receive a full Thanksgiving meal that can be cooked at home or pre-cooked meat, sides and vegetables.

The Center for Family Resources Thanksgiving Food Boxes
For over 30 years, The Center for Family Resources has helped low-income Cobb County families during the Thanksgiving holiday. Their “Thanks for Giving” food boxes provide families with ingredients to cook their own Thanksgiving meals, as well as extra food items for breakfast and lunch.

The Second Harvest of South Georgia annual Thanksgiving for Thousands event has added a second distribution for the first time ever. For just five dollars ($5.00), families will receive a box with 20lbs of food that will feed a family of four (4) for a week.

FOCUS Thanksgiving Food Program
For the past 29 years, FOCUS (Fellowship of Christians United in Service) has distributed Thanksgiving groceries to Harris County residents who cannot afford a traditional holiday meal. This year, nearly 400 families are expected to receive food through the program.
