In today’s post we’re going to walk you through how to log into Georgia’s new online benefits portal Georgia Gateway, formerly known as My COMPASS. The Georgia Gateway portal is a new system that is being used for various social benefit programs in Georgia, including the food stamps program. This post includes links to the Georgia Gateway portal, as well as Gateway.ga.gov login and contact information.
The Georgia Gateway portal is used to apply for benefits, check the status of an application, review your current benefits, submit a renewal of benefits and report any changes to your accounts or information to your local Division of Family and Children Services (DCFS) office. Gateway.ga.gov Login Information
To log into the Georgia online benefits portal, also known as Georgia Gateway, visit the Georgia Gateway website and enter your User ID and Password into the Login section located at the top right of the homepage. Once your information has been entered, please click the yellow “Login” button.
If you are a previous Georgia COMPASS user, please use your COMPASS User ID and Password as your login for the new Gateway portal. If you experience difficulties with logging into your account, or have any questions about the new system, please call the Georgia Gateway Help Desk at 1-877-423-4746.
If you do not have a Georgia Gateway account, you will have to create one. To create a Georgia Gateway account, click on the yellow “Create Account” button in the blue box below the Login section. You will be redirected to a new page where you’ll be asked to provide your first name, last name and email address. You will also be asked to create a unique User ID and Password (using the requirements listed), as well as set three security questions for your account. The last step in account creation is to Accept the User Agreement. Please read the User Agreement carefully and check the box if you’re in agreement. Once everything is completed, click the “Create Account” button located at the bottom right of the page.
If the information you provided is accurate, you will now have successfully created your Georgia Gateway account. You should see a confirmation page if your account has been created. Once your Georgia Gateway account is setup, you will be directed to a login page where you can proceed by entering your User ID and Password to access your Georgia Gateway account. Once you have successfully logged into your Georgia Gateway account, you’ll be able to start a new application, finish a saved application, check the status of an application, review your current benefits, submit a renewal of benefits and report any changes to your accounts or information.
