In response to the winter storm that just barreled through most of the South, Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) will be closed in select counties on Wednesday, January 3rd, and Thursday, January 4th. A full list of DFCS office closures by county are below:

Food stamp recipients in these counties can seek assistance through the Georgia DFCS website.

For questions regarding Food Stamps, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or other eligibility services, please call the online service’s hotline at 1-877-423-4746.

Please be advised that at this time, food stamp benefits will not be released early because of the winter storm. If something is to change, we will be sure to let you know.
