In today’s post, we’re going to determine how Georgia residents can renew their food stamp benefits using the Georgia Gateway online benefits platform. The Georgia Gateway is the home of Georgia’s new eligibility determination system for a number of social benefit programs. If you wish to check on the status of your benefits or a pending application for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as the food stamp program you can do so by using your Georgia Gateway account. www.gateway.ga.gov Renew My Benefits
The Georgia Gateway website can be accessed at www.gateway.ga.gov. The Georgia www.gateway.ga.gov website can be used to renew your SNAP benefits. To renew your benefits, log in to your Georgia Gateway account by entering your User ID and Password on the homepage. If you’ve forgotten your login information, please click the Forgot User ID or Forgot Password link below the login portal on the GA Gateway homepage. If you do not have a Georgia Gateway account, please sign up for one by clicking the Create Account link on the homepage to sign up for a new account. If you’re a previous Georgia COMPASS account user and have not yet logged into the new Georgia Gateway portal, you may enter your COMPASS User ID and Password to gain access to your new Gateway online benefits portal.
Once logged into your Georgia Gateway account, find the link to review your benefits and then click renew your benefits. Once you’ve submitted a request to Renew your Benefits, you’ll be prompted to answer a series of questions, as well as personal information in order to submit your application for benefit renewal. If you don’t wish to renew your Georgia food stamp benefits online, you can also submit a request to renew your SNAP benefits by mail or in-person. To renew your Georgia SNAP benefits, download the Georgia SNAP Renewal Form, print it out and fill out the entire form. You can download the Georgia SNAP Renewal Form.
