Georgia Gateway GA GOV Renew My Benefits
The Georgia Gateway website is a benefits application and account management site for health and human services. If you would like to apply for one of the following benefits or are currently receiving one of the benefits listed below, this is the site to us to manage your public assistance.
How to Apply
- You can visit their website (see link below at the bottom of this article) and go through a simple 15 minute screening process to see if you are eligible for public assistance. There are several federal government programs you may qualify for and going through the screening process tells you which programs are available based on your situation (by looking at your income and other factors).
- If you need help using the Gateway website, there are community partner that can help you see if you qualify for benefits and can help you submit an application. You can also call 1-877-423-4746 for assistance on reviewing what you qualify for and applying.
Once you set up a username and password, you will need to remember that information since it will be required when you come back to the site to check the status of your application or manage your benefits account if you are approved for Food Stamps (SNAP), TANF, Medicaid, Child Care, WIC, or other programs available.
Check Status of My Benefit Application
You can check the status of your application by visiting the Georgia Gateway website, logging into your account and viewing the My Applications section in your account. Your account will display any current or pending applications, as well as their status.
Renew My Benefit
You can use the Georgia Gateway website to renew your benefits or report a change in your status. You can also visit your local Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) office.
