In today’s post we are going to review some of the most frequently asked questions we receive from our readers regarding their My Compass Account. If you are not familiar the My Compass Account, My Compass is a website mandated by the Georgia Department of Human Services that provides a quick and easy way for people in Georgia to get answers to questions about health and human services. Georgia residents are able to sign up for a My Compass Account to determine their eligibility for benefits, apply for benefits, check on the status of their application, receive information regarding their current benefits schedule, report a change, renew benefits and request additional benefits. My Compass Account Help
Question #1: I don’t have a Compass account – how do I sign up for one?
In order to access benefit information you must sign up for a Compass account. Signing up is easy and requires minimal information. You’ll need your Social Security Number, Birth Date, Client ID or Case Number. For more information how to sign up for an account, read our post about My Compass Login.
Question #2: I lost my Compass login information – User ID & Password. What do I do?
Not to worry – we get this question a lot and it’s an easy fix. On the My Compass login page there are two links – one to recover your User ID and another to reset your Password. If you have forgotten both your User ID and Password, then you will want to recover the User ID first because you will need that information to reset your Password. Question #3: I need help renewing my benefits – where can I find the renewal form?
If you need to renew your benefits, you can do this inside of your My Compass account. You must first log into your My Compass account to start the renewal process. If you need help logging in, check out our link in Question #1. To download the application, click here.

Question #5: I moved in with a family member – how do I update my address?
